Avv. Paolo Di Leo

Born in Genoa on 8th August 1967, he graduated from the University of Genoa in 1992 with first class honours in Law and has been registered with the Ordine degli Avvocati di Genova (Genoa Bar Association) since 1995. He joined his father Franco’s firm in 1998 after gaining experience with a number of other reputable legal firms.

He specialises in the insurance sector and in maritime, land and intermodal transport, acting as advisor and legal representative for insurance companies, agents, brokers, forwarders and carriers. He also deals with national litigation and arbitration.

Professional expertise and interests extend to stock trading, commercial contracts, acquisitions, as well as ongoing consulting for various businesses throughout the country operating, among others, in the insurance, chemical, import/export, production, supply, technology, internationalisation and foreign trade sectors. He is also on the supervisory board of leading companies in accordance with statutes 231/2001.

Collaborates regularly with Nord Ovest Academy in Cuneo in holding training events for companies in the transport and foreign trade sector. He also works together with Sos Log, an association promoting sustainable logistics.

Member representing the metropolitan City of Genoa on the Management Consortium for the Portofino Protected Marine Area.

Born in Genoa on 23 July 1974, she graduated from the University of Genoa in 1998 with a first class honours degree in Law. In 1998 she began her legal career at Studio Legale Di Leo.

Registered with the Ordine degli Avvocati di Genova (Genoa Bar Association) in 2003 she has developed expertise in the area of civil law, with particular reference to issues relating to bond, insurance and transport law, taking care of legal disputes and contractual matters on behalf of clients.

Has in-depth knowledge of contracts and issues relating to maritime and intermodal transportation of goods.

Also deals with matters relating to property and debt recovery on behalf of both Italian and foreign clients.

Avv. Claudia Imperato

Born in Genoa on 18 May 1976, she graduated from the University of Genoa in 2000 with a first class honours degree in Law. She was admitted to the Ordine degli Avvocati di Genova (Genoa Bar Association) in 2005.

After a fruitful experience in the United States with the American law firm ‘Givens & Pursley LLP’ in Boise (Idaho) and further experience with leading international legal firms, she joined Studio Legale Di Leo in 2017.

Specialises in the insurance sector and in maritime, land and intermodal transport, acting regularly as legal representative for insurance companies, agents, brokers, forwarders and carriers. She also deals with national and international litigation.

Professional expertise and interests extend to insurance claims for leading companies, consulting in the area of insurance, debt recovery and commercial contracts.

Speaks excellent French, having taken part in the Socrates-Erasmus programme, through which she spent a year in France, where she attended the l’Université de Savoie a Chambéry in the academic year 1998-1999 after winning a scholarship from the Department of Administrative Law at the University of Genoa.

Also speaks fluent English, having spent a year in the United States, where she attended the fourth year of high school at Boise High School, Idaho, in the academic year 1993-1994.
